Maple Spare RIbs

Ingredients:

3 lb pork spare ribs
1 cup Maple syrup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/3 teaspoon chili powder
2 garlic cloves crushed
1/3 cup tomato sauce
1 tablespoon french nustard
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon ginger grated
Salt and pepper

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 F
In a bowl combine the tomato sauce, chili powder, maple syrup, brown sugar, mustard, lemon juice, ginger and garlic. Stir until well combined.
Transfer into a saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
Prepare the spare ribs. Trim the excess fat and place on a baking sheet.
Cook for 30 minutes in the preheated oven (flip the rips after 15 minutes)
Remove from the oven and brush the spare ribs with the maple sauce.
Place back in the oven and cook for 90 minutes (brush again with the sauce every 15 minutes)
Then place in the broiler for about 3 minutes.
